Granola

Here's my favorite granola recipe. Hope you like it!
Ingredients:
3 Cups of rolled oats (not instant)
1 Cup of slivered almonds
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
1/4 Cup of brown sugar
1/4 Cup of canola oil
1/4 Cup of maple syrup
3/4 tsp. salt
1 Cup raisins or other dried fruit

Directions:
Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
Mix together the oats, nuts, and brown sugar in a large bowl. In another bowl, whisk together the oil, maple syrup, and salt. Add the syrup mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well. Spread onto a rimmed baking sheet and bake at 250 for 1 hour 15 minutes.

After removing from the oven, sprinkle the granola with the dried fruit. I sometimes add mini chocolate chips too. Let granola cool, then mix it up and put in a container or ziplock bag.

Hide it from your husband and children as it is addictive.
